Sol is a Production Executive with over 20 years of experience developing and producing content for multi-platform usage and worldwide distribution.
Sol was most recently Executive Vice President, Production and Operations, for the Playboy Entertainment Group where he was responsible for the production of all content created for PlayboyTV, Playboy Home Entertainment, PlayboyTV.com and Playboy Radio. The productions included live television and radio programs, narrative series, films, documentaries, reality shows, home entertainment programming, broadband and mobile content and were distributed worldwide. In 2002 Sol was a key member of the team that planned Playboy’s move into its own studios, including responsibility for its design and functionality. During his tenure he was responsible for expanding programming by leading the production of 10 new series, 60 original titles for worldwide home entertainment, over 20 low budget films licensed to HBO and Showtime, new and re-purposed content for broadband and mobile and the launch of Playboy Radio, first on XM Satellite Radio and then on SIRIUS.
Sol is currently providing production consulting services in program development, production and post production management, ranging from the 80th Academy Awards to cable programming for independent production companies.
