Miriam Holzman
Vice President, Content Production & Distribution - Fox Mobile Entertainment
Miriam Holzman is Vice President, Content Production and Distribution of Fox Mobile Entertainment (FME), a unit of Fox Mobile Group (FMG), the mobile industry’s largest vertically integrated mobile entertainment company, wholly-owned by News Corporation. Miriam is responsible for the distribution of short form video content from News Corporation brands, primarily Twentieth Century Fox, into the mobile market via carriers, handset manufacturers and News Corporation’s global platform, Jamster.
In her current role, Miriam oversees and manages a number of short form video channels including Family Guy and Fox Network promotional channels on mobile.
Miriam assumed this position after serving as Director and then Executive Director of Content for the division, during which time she was focused on content and marketing.
Miriam has made a number of notable contributions to FME and has been especially integral to the division’s hugely successful American Idol initiatives. Since the show’s premiere, she has managed mobile content in conjunction with the show’s sponsor, AT&T. Additionally, she was integral to the launch of text voting during the show’s second season and coordinated the launch of Live Idol Tones during its fifth season.
Miriam received a BA in Mass Communications from University California Los Angeles and an MBA from Loyola Marymount University.
