His past roles have been Head of Mobile Products and Technology at MySpace.com, Chief Software Engineer at IBM, Head of Research and Development at Knowledge Adventure/Vivendi and as an Analysis Director for the United States Department of Homeland Security. He is current the founder and Chief Strategist/Futurist for Promethean Industries, consulting for small companies, venture capital firms and Fortune 500 Companies.
Ling holds advanced degrees in Psychology and Computer Engineering from the Technical Institute of Berlin.
