As Vice President of Yahoo! Lifestyles, Amy Iorio oversaw all aspects of product development, content production, business development, sales and marketing for Yahoo!’s Lifestyles business unit, which comprises the Food, Health, Tech, Kids, Green, Astrology and Pets properties on Yahoo!.  She most recently launched Yahoo!’s first audience centric site for women, Shine.

Previously, Amy served as the chief of staff for Yahoo!’s News and Information group, where she headed business strategy and operations for Yahoo!'s News, Finance, Health, Tech and Food properties.

Prior to joining Yahoo! in January 2006, Amy held various posts at Microsoft Corporation. She led the Microsoft Developer Network and was the director of marketing and developer programs for the TV Division. Amy’s team managed all third party content partner relationships and the worldwide MSTV Developer Program, including design and creation of the next generation of applications, services and content for interactive television working with such companies as ABC, Disney, NBC and Two Way TV.  She launched Microsoft’s children’s story books and games and ran MSN.com when it was a proprietary service.
 
Before joining Microsoft, Amy spent six years in software development at Digital Entertainment Corporation, where she worked on software architecture, engineering, product management and marketing projects.

Amy is a board member for the Environmental Media Association and previously served on the board for WA Works, a Seattle based organization moving women from welfare to work.  She has been a mentor for the American Film Institute's (AFI) eTV Workshop and for AFI's Digital Media program. In 2004, Amy directed an award-winning short children’s film, titled “Seven’s Eleven.”

Amy holds a bachelor's degree in government and computer science from Dartmouth College and a master's degree in education from Harvard University.
