Scott oversees content licensing deals and business development for Metacafe. In his role, Scott cultivates relationships with global media companies and other content producers, helping grow Metacafe’s leadership in online video entertainment.
He brings 15 years of experience in media and entertainment. Most recently, Scott served as senior director, business development, global publisher solutions for Yahoo!, where he developed and implemented strategic distribution partnerships with major players in entertainment, sports, music, TV, gaming and social networking. Previously, he spent four years at the Walt Disney Internet Group (WDIG), where he served as vice president and general manager for EXPN, an online action sports extension of ESPN which he created and founded. He’s also held senior positions with Freespace Media Group, Broadband Interactive Group and Media Holdings Group.
Scott earned his MBA from the UCLA Anderson Graduate School of Management, and he holds a bachelor’s degree from Harvard.
