Phil Schuman is Principal of HighView Media, an established global media consulting and management firm with specialization in television and broadband distribution. Operations located in Los Angeles, California and Munich, Germany. 

Phil has been active in the technical, commercial and strategic roll-out of a variety of digital media broadcast platforms globally; designing, negotiating and advising for companies such as Sky Italia, BSkyB, Deutch Telecom/T-Online, Kabel Duetchland and SwissCom Broadcast. Activities have included: restructuring and negotiation of pay-per-view channel arrangements, channel and programming rights acquisition, VOD/SVOD/FVOD and HD exhibition rights acquisition and strategy development and launch.

Prior to founding HighView Media, Phil spent 7 years with Universal Studios as  Co-President, Universal Studios Television Distribution (2000-2002), Exec. Vice President, Business & Legal Affairs, Universal Television & Networks Group (1998-2000), Senior Vice President, Business & Legal Affairs, Universal Home Entertainment Group (1997-1998) and Vice President, Business Affairs, Universal Home Entertainment Group (1995-1997)
